Children's Programming - December and January at the Civic Center Library












for Middle and High Schoolers


Monday, December 17th, 2007, 6.30-7.30 pm

Learn some basic jewelry techniques and try your hand at making some beautiful holiday jewelry using Swarovski crystals and other beads. All materials will be provided by the instructor, so bring your creativity and make something wonderful to wear!

January 2nd, 3rd, and 4th - all day

The last days of winter vacation don't have to be boring! Come into the library Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday and watch a movie or make a craft. G-rated movies will be constantly running in the Story Time Room and we'll have crafts set up in the Craft Room. Stop in any time and break up the winter blahs! No registration required.

Winnie the Pooh Craft and Movie Marathon
Wednesday, January 16th, 5.00-8.00 p.m.


Winnie the Pooh Day is celebrated the birthday of the author, A.A. Milne, who wrote the "Winnie the Pooh" series. We're celebrating with a craft, coloring pages, and three hours of "Winnie the Pooh" movies.

National Popcorn Day

Saturday, January 19th, 1.00 p.m.

(for elementary school-aged children)

The fun will be popping at the library on National Popcorn Day! We'll play some games, make a craft, and mix up some 'corny' recipes.
